This is absolutely one confusing chapter from Bible Myths. Doane starts talking about possible Indian origins for religion, and then we get into the age of the various books of the New Testament. Which is when it gets confusing. Doane's dating for when the books were written is out of date, but in looking up the reasons why scholar's now ascribe certain dates to the books of the New Testament, much of their logic escapes me, for reasons you'll hear in the episode.
